LF Addon coder

I'm a long experienced BG player and as a guild leader, I've also a long RL experience.

To make communication and leading in bg easier, I have imagined an addon. The fact is I have no idea how make an addon and I don't have the time to learn it.

Then I'm looking for a person who can do that for me. All the credits will be for him, I just want an addon that works =]

If you have some time to discuss with me about it, say it here and i'll join you.

Ok, here it is.

I know that a lot of these features can be replaced by a voice communication, but that the point. I want less voice communication to be able to give only important orders by voice.

BG Commander is made with 2 addons, a master and a slave. The master can do all the slave can do. I think it's a good idea to not overload the computer, as the slave will be lighter than the master.



Master

~ Auto-invite the guild members in the raid.

~ Move the people in the BG raid to make the same groups than in the out-bg raid (Even if to do that, you have to bash a button).

~ BG queues management, like in AV preform enable + warning if somebody is afk or in combat (and then can't enter in BG).

~ Display a big bg map where you can

• Choose a group and give to it an objectif. Left clic = go to; right clic= a little menu with [Attack][Defense][Goto]. The chosen group receive this order on his minimap and with an arrow.


• Show on the map if the group are in combat and if it's possible, the number of ennemies.

~ On the right of the screen, have a number for each group. The number take a different color depending of the state of the group. I.e. red if the group is in combat, black if the group is death or incomplete, blue if it's ok.



Slave

~ Once the master has queued the raid, automaticaly refuse duel request (given and received).

~ Warning like: "LM flag is being capped", "You target as just be healed by [nickname][class]", "the target of you group member has just be healed by [nickname][class]", ...

~ Enhanced minimap clic. When somebody clic on the minimap, the other members of his group (and maybe the RL?) see it, event if the map has to zoom out to.

~ Automaticaly give back repeatable bg quests.

~ Automaticaly put an icon on the flag carrier and give the health of the ally and ennemy carrier.

~ Display timers, like capping.

~ Prevent a slave to queue to a BG.

~ See the master's orders on the minimap and in UI (on minimap: goto = arrow ; attack = sword ; defense = shield) + message (in RW or wispers) to the members who just received the order.

~ Allow members of a group to claim the group lead (not the raid lead). (i.e : Your group has no leader ! Become the lead? [yes][no]. It's a vote. The target of the group leader is always displayed to the other group members (to assist him).

~ Automaticaly put icons on the other group members. But only the group members must see it.

~ Different sorts of warning, like " a member of your group is sap, dead, stun, ...", "you have reach the maximum of honnor points", You encounter a team of the guild [guildname - server]

~ During the preparation phase, if a buff is missing, class members who can cast it are warned. We can imaging the same system for food and health/soul stone.

~ During the battle, if a buff is missing, the group member who can cast it is warned.

~ Healer see on his minimap the position of his group member or of theyr corpse. Each group member see the res timer of his groupmates.

~ Damage dealers of a group are warned if theyr healer is focused.

~ Allow to have the timer of the closest gy.



Optionnal Features

~ Critline like (record the biggest crit)

~ Record Stat k/d/a, who has killed who, like a KoS list, ...

~ Stat gathering: BG win/loss, scores, nomber of dead, of death, of killing blow, assist, number of damage, ~ overdamage, heal, overheal and a lot more, ? All those stats should be export to a bbcode of a html table.|||alot of the things you mentioned are already available (either in game or as addons). I do like the map idea, where the leader can pinpoint objectives for different groups. However, it would have to be something that would be quick and easy to do whilst in combat, or people will just use voice communication instead. I think it would be possible but only if all people in the raid had the same addon.

Yeah, you're pointing the problem. There is many addon which can do the same. But that's the point. To have only one addon and not 5 or 6.

For the raid leading, it takes all the play time. When i was the leader, my game was only to lead, not to fight.

And yeah, everyone should have this addon in the raid.

That's exactly what I have understood :)

So, you are interested?|||- "Allow members of a group to claim the group lead" defeats the purpose of Master>Slave

- bars, timers, combat events, bg stats exported, auto quests, announce flag caps, raid targets, enemy fc health, distance between closest gy, cancelling duels, map objective ..

I'm just some noob..(only made 2 addons) and think this is an awful lot of features you want in your addon

u might need to pay some1 and/or copy a load from other addons ><
