mod request : mana shield

anyone can make this ? an addon to show mana shield absorv damage left?

please help|||There is another one called ShieldLeft but I have never tried it. The problem with all addons like this is that Blizzard provides no information at all about how much damage was absorbed. In order to work reasonably well, such an addon will have to store data about the average damage of all the attacks in the game. This will vary per mob, per level, per player, etc. Even then it will only be a crude approximation. Not good enough for me.|||jap! and there's another problem:

all tracking-addons causes a lot of memory-lacks due their big database. (like sellvalue, auctioneer, gatherer, fishinfo, mobinfo etc...)

look at your combatlog: it sais "you absorbed all damage"... and not "you absorbed xyz damage"... :(|||Quote:

Whenever you get hit with your mana shield on, it drains 2.0 mana, or less if you have talents. An addon could use this to calulate the duration of mana shield, maby even add a light blue portion to your mana bar to show the damage absorb left|||im a priest and i use ShieldLeft and i find it very accurate.
