I want to make an addon that will display whispers on my Betabrite LED sign. I either need the script to run a mac command prompt script or be able to send serial commands. I don't think lua scripts can do this, but if it could write the whispers to a txt file, I could just have an Applescript application monitor the txt file for new whispers. Anyone have any ideas?|||You cannot write to any external file except for the SavedVariables file, and then you can only write to that when you log out or reload your UI.|||That's what I thought.
